Dolores M. Bojazi, a graduate of Holy Family University, while there, she effectively trained the Philadelphia Police Force in legal response procedure and proposed an important appeal procedure for emergency protection orders, which was adopted into law in 1988.
Dolores further pursued her dedication to advocacy work, as a union organizer for the United Auto Workers. As a graduate of Temple University Law School, Dolores started her career as a law clerk to the Honorable David Savitt where she wrote and had published Superior Court Opinions. Dolores entered the private sector as an Associate of a prestigious New Jersey Law Firm, where she represented various unions and their members in the civil and criminal courts. During her time there, Dolores won numerous client appreciation awards.
Dolores then went into private practice for herself with a focus on criminal law. Dolores became conflict counsel to the New Jersey and Philadelphia Public Defenders' offices where she represented both juveniles and adults in cases ranging from misdemeanors to major felonies. Dolores has also represented parents in termination of parental rights cases for New Jersey. Notably, she has represented numerous clients facing the death penalty and is 801 certified to handle capital cases throughout her career.
Dolores was honored by the Marian Anderson Historical Society, as a PA Woman of Distinction. She also served on the Starting Point Board of Directors and Vitas Hospice for several years. Dolores has also involved with Susan G. Komen as a participant in the 3 day walk and volunteer. In addition, she founded Ready Set Live which is a 501(c)3 dedicated to free social events for Breast cancer Survivors. Dolores also does Dragon Boat Racing competitively.
