OOO Years of Silence, One Arrest: The Bucks County Child Sex Assault Case That Took a Fugitive Task Force to Close

May 4, 2026

A Philadelphia man is behind bars without bail after authorities say he repeatedly sexually assaulted a child over the course of four years — and it took the U.S. Marshals Service to bring him in. Williams had been sought as a fugitive before the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force tracked him down.

Bryan Christopher Williams, 31, was arrested Tuesday morning by the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force at a Philadelphia residence. According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, the assaults began when the victim was just 11 years old and continued across multiple locations — including a residential apartment complex in Penndel and a public park in Hulmeville — between 2021 and 2025. Williams faces charges of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, rape by forcible compulsion, statutory sexual assault, and corruption of minors.

What ultimately broke the case: the victim provided investigators with a recording from September 2025 in which Williams confirmed the encounters when confronted. He is now held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility without bail. Authorities believe there may be additional victims.

When Charges Carry the Weight of a Child Victim

Cases involving the sexual assault of a minor are among the most legally complex and socially charged in the Pennsylvania criminal system. The charges Williams faces represent some of the most serious felonies on the books — and the stakes for anyone accused reflect that severity.

Here is what makes these cases uniquely difficult to navigate:

  • Multiple felony charges stacked together. Rape of a child, IDSI with a child, and rape by forcible compulsion are each first-degree felonies in Pennsylvania, carrying potential sentences of up to 20 years per count.
  • Multi-agency investigations. When cases involve the U.S. Marshals, county detectives, and local police working in coordination, the prosecution enters the courtroom with layered resources and a unified narrative.
  • Recording and digital evidence. A recorded confrontation — like the one in this case — can be introduced as a confession. Challenging such evidence requires an experienced legal strategy from day one.
  • No bail, community risk designations. When a judge determines that no conditions can ensure community safety, the accused remains incarcerated through trial. This makes early, aggressive legal engagement critical.
  • Potential for additional charges. When authorities believe more victims exist, investigations expand — and so can the charge sheet.

How the LLF Law Firm Criminal Defense Team Can Help

Facing accusations this serious requires a defense team that has handled the full complexity of violent crime charges in Pennsylvania — including cases involving multi-agency task forces, forensic evidence, and child victims. The LLF Law Firm Criminal Defense Team focuses on protecting the due process rights of every accused person, regardless of the charges.

Here is what we bring to cases like this:

  • Immediate case evaluation. From the moment you contact us, we assess every detail — the charges, the evidence, the agencies involved, and the timeline.
  • Experience with complex, multi-charge sex crimes cases. Stacked felony counts require a defense built around each charge individually and the case as a whole.
  • Evidence review and challenge. Recordings, witness statements, and forensic materials are all subject to scrutiny. We examine everything.
  • Bail and detention hearings. When someone is held without bail, we fight to revisit that determination and advocate for our client’s rights at every stage.
  • Coordination with multi-agency prosecutions. When the DA’s office is working alongside federal marshals and county detectives, you need a team that understands how these partnerships operate — and where they can be challenged.

The consequences of a conviction are life-altering. Due process is not a formality — it is the foundation of a fair outcome, and when you are facing sex crime charges in Pennsylvania, we fight to protect it.
