PA Man Charged With Arson, Attempted Murder, and More After Allentown Fire

An Allentown man is facing charges of arson and attempted murder after a three-alarm fire in the city. The blaze spread through a section of rowhomes, displacing 30 people. Four firefighters and three civilians were taken to the hospital, one in critical condition. Court documents say the suspect also attempted to cause the death of two individuals, allegedly stabbing one of these individuals before starting the fire. Firefighters also rescued a woman who was apparently trapped in the basement of a building at the heart of the blaze.
