PA Man Facing Multiple Felony Charges Over Kidnapping with a Crossbow

Posted by Joseph D. Lento | Feb 12, 2025 | 0 Comments

A Susquehanna, Pa. man is facing multiple felony charges, including second-degree kidnapping, first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal possession of stolen property, and third-degree unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle after allegedly threatening a woman with a crossbow.

The man also led police on a chase through Binghamton into Pennsylvania on Christmas morning. The pursuit ended when the man, identified as Devin Collins, crashed his vehicle, which was later discovered to be stolen. His victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Dealing with multiple felony charges isn't easy, particularly in a case such as this one, where the victim and the police officers can both testify against you. If you or someone you know is facing similar charges, it is critical to have the right team by your side. Contact the LLF Law Firm today at 888.535.3686 or through our online form to schedule a consultation and get started on building your case.

Multiple Felony Charges

The charges against Collins include a class-B felony, a class-D felony, a class-E felony, and a class-A misdemeanor. When faced with these types of charges, it is important to have the right legal advice. There are many legal defenses that can be used against felony charges, and having the right representation can help not just with challenging a possible criminal case but also with mitigating penalties, presenting character references, or helping reduce felony charges to misdemeanors.

The LLF Law Firm can be there for you and give you customized advice that works for your particular case and your needs. Not all cases are the same, and no two felonies are the same, either, because the circumstances that led to each and every one of them are different. That means that the way to handle each case has to be tailored to every individual.

Having the right team by your side can be the difference between a long prison sentence, a hefty fine, a permanent criminal record, or the loss of civil rights, such as the right to vote, possess firearms, or serve on a jury and the ability to live a normal life with all your rights still intact. If you or someone you know is facing felony charges in Pennsylvania, whether they involve something like the case Devin Collins is facing or not, you don't have to face it alone.
